What began as God’s stirring in a faithful heart has blossomed into a beacon of His hope. Several years ago, the Lord placed the vision for a retreat center on the heart of our Foundation President, Rev. Mr. David A. Reaves. In 2019, God set His plan into motion, and by 2020, the doors of Saint Clare of Assisi Retreat Center opened to welcome pilgrims seeking spiritual renewal.
Since our beginning, God has blessed thousands of souls with rest, healing, and spiritual growth within these walls. The overwhelming response and increased hunger for encounters with Him is a testament to His abundant blessing on this ministry, THANKS BE TO GOD!

Saint Paul says that our lives should be a living sacrifice. Our volunteers at the retreat center are an offering to God by their service to The Body of Christ.
Everyone is welcomed and valued as a person from the moment they arrive at the retreat center. We go out of our way to make each retreatant and volunteer feel special and loved.
We seek to will the good of each person in a way that promotes the theological virtues of faith, hope, and charity. We invite The Father to allow us to see each person as He sees them.
We seek to provide an environment that is set apart from the world to focus on God’s Presence and to open ourselves up to the many ways He speaks to us.
Our mission will only be successful if we fully submit ourselves to the Will of the Father and remain intimately connected to the Vine, Who is Jesus.
To meet people where they are and gently point them back to Jesus in an environment that is encouraging and uplifting.
Opportunities to encounter Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament as well as in the beauty and tranquility of God’s creation through our gardens.
To help connect the head and the heart through the development of unique Holy Spirit driven retreats and programs that lead to greater intimacy with Jesus
To remain faithful to the promptings of the Holy Spirt by seeking to be bold and courageous through fellowship, prayer, and Christ-centered conversations.
To provide an environment and opportunities that will allow God to transform those who come seeking Him and a deeper relationship with their Creator.
Throughout the year, the Holy Spirit guides us in offering thoughtfully prepared retreats designed to meet you wherever He has you in your spiritual journey. Each retreat is His invitation to step away from life’s distractions and enter into sacred conversation with the Divine.
